What happens if UNC beats Clemson?

UNC gets in? They'd be conference champs with 1 loss but their resume is bad as is their "eye test"(bad SoS, very bad loss, but would also have a great win, over #1).
Or does Ohio State? (best 1 loss team that isn't a conference champ by far, loss is a solid one, close to a good team)
Or possibly Stanford, assuming they win Pac12? (conference champs, decent resume, but 2 losses, although the losses are at least respectable)
I personally think it would be UNC, but there is an outside chance of Ohio State, if UNC wins by a fluke or something.
Edit: It appears it will either be Stanford or Ohio State based on this week's numbers anyway.

South Carolina gets in the college football playoffs?

UNC lost to 3-9 South Carolina so hell no. They would put Ohio State in over UNC even if they won the title game.

UGA gets in. we win it. Right gets hired back. McGarity gets fired.

Chizik will be getting a chance at his third NC ring.

and then after that Mizzou hires Bill Belichick and goes on a dynasty run.

The NCAA might remember that they're supposed to levy five Level I violations against UNC, including lack of institutional control.

I think this will happen.

UNC only at #10, looks like the committee hates their two FCS team schedule.
Hard to see them jumping to #4 even with a Clemson win.
I think Stanford is in prime jumping position.

Ohio state should be in in that senario. UNC is out for losing to a garbage South Carolina team and Stanford is a 2 loss team.

I don't see UNC getting in regardless, and I don't see Clemson getting left out. Really an unimportant game to be honest other than whether Clemson will be a 1 seed or a 4 seed.

Since the playoff rankings aren't cumulative and are completely reshuffled every week, here's what I think would happen.
1. Alabama 12-1
2. Michigan State 12-1
3. Oklahoma 11-1
4. Stanford 11-2
5. Ohio State 11-1
6. North Carolina 12-1
7. Clemson 12-1
8. Iowa 12-1
9. Notre Dame 10-2
10. Florida State 10-2
The committee has already stated that they weight conference championships high.

So?
Oklahoma lost to a 4 win Texas team and everyone thinks they hung the moon.
If UNC wins the ACC they should be in the top 4.

UNC's problem is that they played 2 FCS schools.

UNC would be 12-1 if they beat Clemson

The committee is going to forgive Stanford having 2 losses because their schedule is extremely good, and that's probably correct.
Them being a conference champ (assuming) and having a better resume will get them in over Ohio State and UNC.

Nope, the "unbiased" committee has spoken. Welcome to the on deck circle acorns. I do not really disagree with that but Big Ten 4, 5 and 6

And Oklahoma played Kansas and Akron. OU also benefited by playing top Big 12 teams when they had injuries. TCU still nearly beat them with their 3rd string QB.
