What happened to Auburn?

Used to be a respectable group that accepted their place in the middle of the SEC West. They fire their coach and hire a nobody and all of a sudden they are shite talking non-stop.
I hate to say it but it seems like such an Aggie thing to do. I thought Auburn was better than that.

How many SECCG has A&M been in since joining the SEC.? Up until this Covid season I think the closes they have been was 3 games back of first.

We can only hope to compete with and possibly achieve what powerhouse programs like Texas A&M has in the SEC.

Gus is gone. We will see how that plays out - Auburn fans have wanted it for long enough. I'm not impressed in the least with their staff though. Could have done better

TEXAS won the 1st game they played, TEXAS won the last game they played, TEXAS leads the series 76-37-5. But that also includes a game that aggy left at halftime because they didnt want to play anymore, kinda like the 1st opt-out ever. That’s the doll.

It’s also funny witnessing the transparency of a post, in meaning to come across as one way but exposing your insecurity instead. We get it. You’re worried about Auburn. It takes a lot of smarts to rip a coach that has yet to coach a game at the university.
You might not remember because Texas A&M was a doormat in another conference at the time, but the last coach we hired from that conference or part of the country was Pat Dye and he seemed to do alright in the SEC. He also didn’t have the success at Wyoming that Harsin had at Boise State, so I guess we’ll see how it works out.. but to make any judgement whatsoever at this point in time is premature. Thank you for your concern.

I totally get it. Yes us Aggies are insecure. We are the type that gloats after hiring mediocre coaches.

It feels like Gus era of mediocrity has dragged a once proud Auburn program down to the level of Mississippi State and Arkansas.

2020 your best team ever and you still can’t win a damn thing to show for it. A&M fans, it will never be as good as 2020. Just another SEC transfer to add games to our schedule.
A&M can’t even reach the level of Auburn with all those billions in the coffers.

You are making my point. Auburn is a once proud program that would not start talking shite after hiring a no name coach. You might talk shite after winning a championship or doing something notable.
But now you are at the point where hiring a middling Boise State coach and a mediocre staff has you celebrating lile you won an NC.
It just feels like yall have really fallen from the days when you were competing with Bama, LSU, and Georgia for the SEC championship. Feels like the decline is real this time.
