Probably the only comparison to Saban taking over at Bama and then playing LSU every year. There are a few coaches that left other SEC schools and coached at another SEC school like : Houston Nutt, Tuberville, Kiffin but those were not bitter rivals. This has the feel but it is still just baseball though .

I actually liked Tenner until these last two years. I liked how Vitello was openly standing up for his assistants and for assistants all over the country on how they should be paid and have more on field coaches.
I credit that change to him but it seems like that has made him believe if he runs his mouth enough he will get what he wants, and that’s spilled into the players.
Tenner is no where near mid tier though…
