I have to agree and it's not even close to the other fanbases I have seen. The north Florida white trash thinks a blue jersey, jean shorts, white K-swiss, neck tats of their ex-girlfriends name, and a UF hat backwards makes them have swag.

You dumb. How many neck tattoos do you have?
The South Georgia white trash thinks a red jersey, jean shorts, white K-swiss and a UG hat backwards makes them have swag. I like the all black UG hat backwards with the black bulldog in raised embroidery the best

Yeah, that's another stereotype I forgot. Every fan wears them. Believe me.

Probably Alabama since they have the most white trash fan base. Trashy people are usually the jersey wearers.
Florida has a trashy fan base as well with a healthy mixture of yankees, so they're definitely in the running.
Arkansas is the dark horse. They have an entire trashy state to themselves to run a white trash monopoly.

'damn yankee' here. outside of the south a lot of people wear jerseys. I wear a C Newton one here in SoCal when I watch the game at the bars. Starts a lot of shite talk, get a lot of roll tide's from sidewalkers but I enjoy that. I'm originally from NY and everyone has a jersey but that's because we are indeed tPOS from tailgate to post-game.
Blew me away at my first Auburn game that I forgot to rent my tux or make a trip to Brooks Bros. I had no money, NROTC and summer jobs was all I had so I eventually compromised by wearing orange pants and a button down. I grew up with the mentality games were a rowdy place where we wanted the other team to get their arse beat and the fans to eat their crow. First time Alabama came to town I was amazed at the mutual hospitality. I guess that's why I loved going to LSU for AU games.

OM has a trashy racist fanbase that is more into sheets than jerseys. I get that. It's cool.

I'm gonna buy a Bo Wallace jersey and wear it to every game this year in protest to the pretension of this topic.

I don't get the hate for jerseys. I'll wear one from time to time.

You want an image of why jerseys are white trash? Go in the box suites and count how many people are wearing jerseys. I'll give you a hint though, the answer is 0.

If you're sitting in a suite then yeah, don't wear a fricking jersey.
If you're not in a box and you're wearing a suit, you're just playing at belonging to a class you obviously don't.

But they're not wearing suits. There's a reason they're not wearing jerseys though.

People always say this kinda stuff and it makes me wonder if they've ever left Florida. Jax is downright wonderful compared to most of the interior South. It's really not that hot here.
eta: And yes, I know G-ville is hotter...

There's a thing called etiquette. It tells you how to act and dress in certain situations. That's why they're not wearing jerseys. You also don't wear jeans and a t-shirt to a nice restaurant, but you would to Applebee's.
That's basically the difference between box suites and the rest of the stadium.

There are different environments in different parts of the country, but as an OM fan if you don't dress at least decent I think you're basically being disrespectful/trying to stick out, or you're probably just a trashy person.
It's a well known tradition that we dress nice to our games, so if you're a true OM fan you're probably going to follow that protocol.

I'd say it's about a 50/50 split on game day in the Vaught between "nice" and t-shirts/jeans. Some people just don't buy into khakis and sundresses.
My wife likes to partake in dressing nice year round. I will once it gets cooler, but when it's hot you can keep it - I wear shorts and a t-shirt.
