Man Alahunter is gone? That dude and myself basically pioneered the SECr in its infancy. Hope life is treating him well. Eventually I'll probably follow in his footsteps and leave this board. Takes up way too much of my time.

When it first started (for a very short period) our talks were always very debate-like and pretty intellectual, and I thought they were fun. Even if he was trolling, it was much more bearable than what people call trolling now, even if it consisted of threads like Mark Ingram > Bo Jackson. ( I 100% blame the loss of quality in trolling on Arkansas fans bringing weak sauce around 2011 or whenever tFlagship nonsense started).
I don't know if any of you guys know this, but the SECr was created because Alabama fans were way too numerous on the Tiger Rant after Saban got hired so they had to corral you guys here. Alahunter was the main Alabama guy and I think it's fair to say myself, Tiger n Miami AU83, and AUCatfish were the mainstay Auburn guys. Every other fanbase was really, really underrepresented for a long time compared to those two.

Started coming here during that anxiety ridden stretch between Shula's firing and Saban's hiring just to read the rumors.
Stayed for (what was back then) a smart and funny group of rival fans. I have always disliked team centric boards because of the homerism and groupthink.
Now I just can't quit this place. It's like a fungus.
