Trask had a couple of blown reads in which a pitch instead of keep would have resulted in big plays.

So in order for UF to just shut down the passing game, they can't just rely on defending one part of the field

I don't think they can shut it down in it's entirety. LSU has too many talented receivers. A Tua vs Clemson performance wouldn't shock me either though.

Florida ran the ball really well against LSU last season. Alabama consistently runs the ball well against LSU under Aranda. Auburn ran the ball against LSU last season. Vandy ran the ball well against LSU a few weeks ago. Franks completed 12 passes last year with a pick and they still scored 27 in a win. Mullen isn't an idiot, the gameplan is going to be to run the football and make LSU tackle in space.

Aranda's defense relies on the first man making the tackle. The first man is usually there, he just needs to make the tackle.

No need to warn me because I am definitely in agreement here. OU is around 55 points which tells you odds makers are looking for winning team to be in the low 30s.

I am taking Florida and the defense in this game. No BS. Burrow is going to see more pressure and be hit more in this game x3 than any game played this year. I've seen this type of offense too many times and this is the kind of matchup it struggles in.

Take what the defense gives him like he did vs Auburn.

Don't turn it over(stop fumbling bro).

Make the right reads on the RPO's.

He has been pretty darn good so far. Just put up the most yards Auburn gave up this season despite being injured in the game.

I think the big key is his pocket presence has to improve immediately. LSU doesn't have the Dline Auburn has, but they have speed on defense and will get pressure.

We put up 400 on a very good Auburn defense, and efficiency wise our offense has been very good this year. We just keep shooting ourselves in the foot. Have to stop this.

What kind of offense is that?

FWIW, LSU has 184 running plays and 144 passing plays for the season.

If you remove the fourth quarter the run/pass ratio is even. The LSU offense is well balanced. It just looks skewed because they have had so many big passing plays and score so quickly.

I don't either, I don't think it's all on the receivers though. We may see this from Florida, they have very talented receivers as well. But if Trask can't make the long throws, or can't put touch on the ball for the short throws, it doesn't matter how talented the receivers are if LSU can just focus on defending one area of the field, that may shut down UF's passing.
