I haven't been to Starkville in a while so I don't know where State needs to be.
They need to be in a civilized non-pasture, but alas...they're still stuck in that turdhole known as Starkghanistan.

Living in what is known as "Dixie Alley" (East Mississippi thru West Alabama and up through North Alabama and North GA) there is no way those banners on the left side stay up thru a Spring and Summer without some storm damage.
Tornadoes are less frequent in these states than they are in the southern Plains. However, Alabama and Mississippi have reported more tornado fatalities than the Plains states (except for much-larger Texas). This is in part due to the relatively high number of strong/violent long tracked, tornadoes and higher population density of this region. According to the National Climatic Data Center, for the period January 1, 1950 – October 31, 2006, Alabama (along with Kansas) reported more F5 tornadoes than any other state.

I like that first pic without the upper deck seating in the endzones and the banners in the stadium.

We got an IPF. Then they got one, sort of. We got a huge video board, they go and get one 1 foot bigger. We get an IPF for basketball they get one.
State had an IPF (50 yards long) for several years before Ole Miss finally built theirs. State now has two, and both are paid for. As of less than a year ago, OM had still not paid for theirs.
State's video board is 30% bigger than Ole Miss', not "1 foot" bigger (although both are two of the nicest vb in college fb). State also built the first Jumbotron in the whole SEC back in the late 80's.
OM did build their BPF first, but State had publically discussed building both a BPF and new video board before OM built either one and I pretty sure even before OM publically decided to build either one. In both instances, OM was much quicker going from decision to build to actual construction, but that doesn't mean State was copying OM in anything.

I wasnt flaming against State saying State copies anything OM does. It goes both ways. I was just saying If one school does something then the other school has to respond.

Ok.
One thing I read once was an OM fan on an OM board saying that the IHL College Board does this on purpose anyway to keep the schools relatively even. I'm not sure if that's true, as I've never read that an expansion was denied by the College Board. Could be that it's done that way 'under the table'.
I don't think MSU needs a huge expansion, but I'm in favor of something to get us to 65-68k. Probably filling up the North Endzone. I wouldn't even be opposed to just expanding the current bleachers all the way across and up some--that would get us to 60k pretty cheaply and give our too crowded students some room, and it would look ok on game day. But since we have waiting lists for club level seats and skyboxes, I'm sure any expansion will include those.
Sure, with 68k we'll have several non-conference games with thousands of empty seats, but the big games could fill that capacity up.

Please God. State student sections are miserably small. You have to get there like 2 hours before the game starts to even get a decent seat. It must suck to have two separate ones like that

Doesn't seem that small to me. Unless it's changed. Fifty yards on the lower deck + the endzone bleachers. Is that a lot smaller than Ole Miss's? I don't see how.
