Also that 1.5% annual fee does not include the funds internal expense ratio, so you could really be paying upwards of 2% when it's all said and done. Again I see value in both but A shares are better then fee based advisors make their clients believe

Ok I will buy that. Curious though how many people have come to you and specifically asked for a certain mutual fund.?
And to the original poster, you answered your own question about using a financial advisor vs doing it your self. He told you to get in to a market everyone was selling. The value of good financial advice is helping you avoid mistakes based on your emotions. People are their own worst enemy when it comes to investing.

I understand the pros and cons of both. But to say it's better for the client remains to be seen. It's definitely better for the advisor

Those numbers I can believe.
However 1.25 -.9 will be way more expensive over time vs. an A share American fund.

So you are saying that an individual with a net worth of 1MM would only be expected to pay $1000.00 for a good plan ?

The places you listed have way higher expectations than MSU. If it were me i would collect my millions in starkville live like a god and not have to worry about pushy boosters who arent satisfied with 8 win seasons i dont doubt that the places you listed aren't better jobs just not as easy as the one in starkville as far as keeping the fanbase happy

I think we can keep his salary competitive with the other teams in the sec minus FL AL LSU but why leave a place where the people worship your every move if you win 6- 8 games a year to go to LSU who wants to kill you if you dont win 10+ games a season

The only place I see him leaving for is florida. if the wins come the money will come and there is no better place to coach than in the SEC.

i would think that you would only play the teams in your division and keep the ooc games and only play a team from the other division in a championship game
