Let me clear something up for you Neanderthals. You can't call a penalty on a review. It's not allowed. Ridley went out of bounds on his own and came back in and was the first person to touch the ball. It should have been illegal touching. But since the official that was standing right there at the action didn't throw a flag, there was no penalty. Upon review, the head referee saw the infraction and even referenced it in his call that it was no catch due to illegal touching. But he didn't call a penalty because he couldn't. It's that simple.

That would be similar to an official reviewing a play to see the spot or see if someone scored and seeing a hold on the play and calling it after the play. It doesn't happen because it can't happen. Surely even some of you knuckle draggers can see the fallacy of allowing that to happen.

I'm pretty sure he's talking about the long catch, not the 3rd down catch called incomplete
