Arkansas wrecked a bunch of LSU seasons
That's kind of a stretch... but ok.

Name a yankee coach that has had success in the SEC?
You can’t be this dumb. Let’s keep the list to the current century:
Nick Saban
Les Miles
Urban Meyer

But for some reason LSU doesn’t want to play them anymore.
Current win streak….LSU has won the last 18 meetings dating back to 1983.
No one outside of New Orleans gives a shite about Tulane.

Anyone with a bit of common sense should see that OU-Mizzou and LSU-Arkansas would be better.
But the REAL way to go is OU-OSU, LSU-Tulane, and Arkansas-Mizzouri.

I hope it sticks.

Have no desire to go to Norman, just like I had no desire to go to College Station, Fayetteville was alright but far as shite on a holiday weekend, Little Rock may have been the worst. LSU doesn’t have a rival whose biggest rival is also LSU and that’s fine. The recruiting benefits from being the only show in the boot is enough.

LSU didn’t do anything to piss off the SEC. LSU just doesn’t have a true rival. My opinion the only team that could fill that spot would be Ole Miss from our history with them in the early days, but they have Mississippi State.

LSU mad we took their easy win away?

LSU is the #2 rival of like half the teams in the SEC. It makes the season as a whole really fun, but it means Thanksgiving week is bound to be mid lol.
At least OU is a storied program. Would be an interesting annual series even if there’s no history there.

To this day, whenever I think about or watch old clips of Arkansas vs LSU, I associate it with leftover turkey and spiral-sliced honey glazed ham. Classical conditioning is for real.

Quite a few Ole Miss fans feel that LSU is their true rival, not Miss State.

They should make LSU-FLA the last game of the year... great games over the years
FLA-FSU can play the week before

Nobody gives two shits about playing Missouri. They are... what you call irrelevant. An afterthought. When you name all the teams in the SEC, you invariably leave one out... then someone goes "What about Missouri?" "Oh, are they in the SEC? I forgot."

Maybe learn the history of the area... LSU and its grads in the legislature had a long history of discrimination against actual Cajuns.

Tulane bounced.
Yearly, Tulane is 80-90% students from outside of LA. Not an ideal rival candidate.

Missouri has always been a dixie state.

"Dixie" is derived from the ten dollar notes printed in New Orleans and used up and down the river on gambling boats. These notes were referred to as "Dixies" due to the french word for "ten" being printed on them:

Tulane doesn’t want to play LSU unless it’s a home and home. LSU doesn’t want to lose the revenue of a home game every other year.
Makes sense, they don't seem worthy of a home and home. Maybe a 2 for 1 like Alabama did with USF.

The idea was presented to them and they rejected it . LSU-Tulane was a top ten rivalry by games played when it was ended.
Most people don't realize the importance of that rivalry to the SEC. Without it there's no Sugar Bowl, and the vast sums of money generated by having the largest and second largest stadiums in the SEC from 1936-1970. They were the largest two in the whole South during that time except from 1948-1953 when DKR briefly surpassed Tiger Stadium. Before televised games, gate receipts was where the money came from. I believe Alabama, LSU and Tulane won the first 6 SEC championships.

Selfishly I’d like to play them. The games in the dome were fun but LSU in Yulman would be great. Make thanksgiving a lot of fun too if they had it that weekend.
