The issue is the university didn't feel the need to take ANY action at all in a situation where a player exhibited incredibly poor judgement and represented the University in a very poor light. There was no "time away from the team to let the investigation play out". There have been numerous players on SEC teams suspended or removed from the team for much less than this.
UA and Miller are cooperating fully with the authorities. There is no valid reason he shouldn't be playing. Opinions of jealous Bama haters are irrelevant.
