Yeah, well, if Bevo was a bull instead of a steer, he might just tear entire opposing stadiums down…

We would not want Bevo to wear out his welcome, so we present y’all with our polite and well mannered steer…

What’s not to like?

aggy fiction. Bevo was Bevo in1916 a year before the 1917 13-0 game that aggy claims he was named after.

You’ll be downvoted, but any fanbase of a school with a live mascot views that animal as royalty.

Mike’s habitat is better living than any student on campus.

I can only assume Uga, Reveille, and Smokey are properly pampered as well.

Sometimes I wonder if the A&M cult coming 12 years ahead of Texas was just conditioning.

Like a Hindu cow or the Liberty Bell, our sacred steer Bevo is iconic and well protected…definitely not what’s for dinner… you Southeasterners have pork for that…

No, worshipping an orange steer does not make a fanbase a “cult”…

On November 19, 1915, Texas A&M defeated the University of Texas 13-0 at Kyle Field in the first meeting between the two teams since 1911. The game was the first time the rivalry was played at A&M, and was held in College Station.

Any Civil Rights attorneys on SRant? Seems like Texas may have a legit case for discrimination via proxy

Also while a phasing in process is negotiable for planning/raising capital, all SEC stadiums should be made Bevo-accessible moving forward. Don't blame Texas, blame the FHA

Hey aggy, here’s a video of Bevo (with his entourage) about to enter his holy steer-trailer…for you Southeasterners just now being educated, please note that one of the most important roles for Bevo’s Silver Spur attendants is the carrying of the sacred Texas a&m steer turd bucket…

Agreed, any SEC stadium required to be ADA compliant must also be required to be bovine/Bevo compliant... need to put in a call to Sankey and first give him a chance to make good, before actually filing the lawsuit(s)...

Ok. Thanks for sharing. It’s cool if you want to run with the story that the plural form of “beef”is “beeve”…

Also cool that this was all uncovered 75 years after the fact.

*Texas fans during football season*. “Bevo!!! OMG!!! YAY!!! Come touch his horn!! We all do it!!!”

*Texas fans pretty much anytime else*
“Beef is the best BBQ!! Come to Texas and eat beef!! Beef Beef Beef!!!”

You are the only SEC school that sells meat from their mascot at the concession stand. That’s for sure.

Bevo is our sacred orange steer…there’s a difference…any other cloven hoof bovine is just BBQ…

First off , for a Farm school you should know better . No one is eating fricking Longhorn

Secondly , Arkansas serves pulled pork

I'm pretty sure every school serves hot dogs, and that has probably a bit of everything in them
