I know Danielson is a prick who likes to gripe alot, but I'm a little bummed about SEC games moving exclusively to ESPN. Especially considering most of the ESPN commentators are complete cucks

We came a long way from Jefferson Pilot Sports Network

Count me as bummed as well. Whatever their faults, I think CBS puts on the best broadcast, and has for a while. That mid-afternoon prime time SEC slot is hard to beat for me.

I agree, I always felt it was special to have the only college football game on CBS each week. And man, that original theme song stills gives me goosebumps the first time I hear it each season. The Best Game From The Best Conference.

CBS was getting the game of the week for a bargain. That is why the SEC left. They didn't really want to pay up. SEC went with ABC, ESPN Disney

I’m not looking forward to our games being exclusively on ESPN during election years. It will be insufferable.

I will miss Gary and Nessler, but at least there will be less commercials. Gary knows the game despite what people say.

Nothing says elite college football better than that song.

It needed a change. I never liked how outside of maybe Archie Manning, the people in the studio or the broadcasters were even SEC people. PLus, the god damn games much like the ABC game of the week took like 4.5 hours to play.

I’m going to miss that swish sound they make when the score updates

Yep. The intro music will be sorely missed by me.

And that extra money totally makes up for having to listen to Beth mowens

I will not miss cutting to commercials every change of possession and official reviews for every possible play.

Great exposure for the conference and the best production in CFB.
Too bad they were pricks when the SEC wanted to renegotiate several times.

I will miss the time slot, the production value (outside of shitstain Danielson), and the theme song.

True. I’ll miss some things about CBS but they made their bed.

It certainly gave all cord-cutters a place to watch a marquee SEC game each week. ESPN can be a lot of things to a lot of people but they aren't in every house.

After years and years of being jealous of CBS coverage of SEC games compared to ABC, ESPN and Fox for our games.. even the picture quality just looked better on CBS. Better cameras or whatever. More angles, better awareness. Generally better color commentary. I fully agree.
