Most teams don't have scorers on the block. Even elite teams. UF isn't different than the Warriors in that regard

Florida = The Golden State Warriors

Seems like Golden State has one of the best big men to ever play the game.

Don't be dense. You know very well I wasn't comparing UF to the Warriors for any reason other than to show that "post presence" isn't super important in modern basketball.

Except they have one of the greatest big men to ever play the game.

The post didn't even make sense.

Durant? Draymond?

Those guys being considered "big men" is kinda my point. They're both good rebounders but they're perimeter-oriented combo forwards.

The 5 spot hasn't been stable for the Warriors but it doesn't matter. Hayes can be our Zaza.

If UF is in a conference race, any race, they usually win it. That's just the power of that program at work.

That said, I'd say that Auburn is their only serious cmpetition right now. Not slamming the Gators but I'd really like to see the Eagles win it all. They're a fun team.

Durant is damn near 7' tall. He is, in fact, a big man. He just has a strong all around game. Which, IMO, is the future of the 4 and 5 slot players in the game of basketball.

Golden State is one of the most dynamic offensive teams I've ever seen on the court, so I understand why you may say they don't score from the block, but I don't see it that way at all. I see their big men being able to do everything on offense, which makes them even more effective down low.

Odds mean nothing in January it depends all on how well egbunu comes back from his injury if he is truly 100% then there is a great chance that the GATORS can make a run in March if he is 75 to 80% then who knows UF will be better because he is such a big presence in the lane for us but really should not be on the court if he is not 100% ready
