Yeah I will say that I would be very disappointed if we caved to public opinion and got rid of them, not that it would ever happen

We put zero effort into non revenue sports, so you aren't going to upset me.

I'd also be upset if A&M pulled an Ole Miss and pussed out to public opinion and got rid of the Yell Leaders.

That was us in the Big 12, I get it. We were the Aggie joke.

that's why we're so angry.

You don't put much effort into revenue sports either.

We've always had bad pub, but then we'll always get some good pub to fall back on. Like the grove, hot girls, cool town, and we've been getting a lot of love for our baseball atmosphere lately.
I just always wonder how it is for State fans. Don't necessarily get bad pub, but also just don't get any recognition for virtually anything.

Sad part is that they DO put a lot of effort into football.

Without the context I have to say that really does look weird.

Yep. At least we're better than Arkansas.

Fish Camp is step 1 of the indoctrination.

All true. The grove is legendary.

That is 90% of college programs.

Acting like we don't ever care about anything is a good way to get under our skin.
Nice rustlin' job.

Saying we don't have 15 championships which we clearly do.

I don't think any of you legitimately like the yell leaders, regardless of what you might say.
Yeah, you're right. I hate 'em.
The gnome was purchased by non-Aggie non-Texan wife, who just didn't know better. My first reaction was, "damn, that just ain't right". But that turned into "oh, what the hell..."

I'm not even going to ask why the Yell leader has a stripper pole going straight up his arse...

It's still about 50% isn't it? (Genuine question. I have no idea.)
About 47% per the Commandant (your fish buddy, BG Ramirez '79).
However, once the drawdown really starts taking hold, you'll see less and less as the caps on contracts for A&M get constricted by USAAC and the other service-equivalent organizations.
