Bama embarrassed OSU and that should take care of their fans for a few months.

It's awesome, but my favorite disappearances are the Clemson fans. They're the worst. Frick they're annoying. They think they're God's gift to football and they've only been good at it for five years.

Been saying it a long time. For all of you who don't remember Bama before Saban. Bama fans deep down are the most bitter, sleaziest fans in all of the SEC.
So bitter and embarrassing that they poisoned Auburn's trees.
I find it hilarious that most of these BAMA fans come off as so gracious and complimentary. It's easy to be "the nice guy" when you win, but I GUARANTEE once they start losing again they will revert back to being bitter, hopeless assholes again.
And as I always say, here are the reasons that Bama is on borrowed time:
1. Your academics are embarassing
2. Once Saban leaves its over
3. Your high school talent is average. Florida, Georgia and Louisiana have better high school talent.
Once Saban is gone, it's back to the Shula days you moron gumps. This year Georgia is better, you have no shot. So you'll lose this year and Saban will get old and that's a wrap.

Agreed !!! Barbie Lawrence thought the same about himself.
Let's see, we beat OSU by 4 Td's and OSU beat Clem"p"son by 3 Td's so that means the good guys would have beaten them by 7 TD's....... sounds about right.

You pick a 3-5 year period, when Alabama was on sanctions.
There is a reason why Alabama has won the SEC every decade since the SEC was founded.
There is a reason why Alabama is 2nd in wins (behind Michigan, that started football 10+ years before Alabama.)
There is a reason why Alabama has won at least one NC every decade since 1920, except the 1950's and 1980's.
There is a reason why Alabama has a winning record over every SEC team, and a winning record over every team they have played 10 or more times.

a NC Alabama team played at least one game in the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, 10s, and 20s. Who else can claim such a streak? Hell, Bill Curry was an Iron Bowl away from playing for a NC. Stallings won one and was in position for one or two more. Even in the the worst 10 year period of Bama football since the 50s, they managed 3 x 10 win seasons and an SEC Championship.
Bama fans, as a whole, are not bitter. They are accustomed to the success of their football program, which shortens patience in down periods. The Bama HC is a tough job because of fan expectations. When Saban leaves, that won't change. It won't make for bitter Bama fans. It will make for quick triggers to heat up seats.
I'm sorry your program has come up short for a NC for 40+ years. It is really you who continues to sound bitter about that. Demand more of your coaching. He certainly has the funds, facilities and talent. If UGA doesn't win the SEC this year and play for a NC with all of the issues and turnover between Bama, LSU, AU, UF, And UT, they may never do it under Kirby.
