Yardage wise which is a real indicator of which team is moving the ball and which team isnt shows us pretty damn good in that regard.

And we played 2 ranked sec teams out of 4 games.

So, are you arguing that Texas A&M will end up ranked? Seriously?

And you got beat by the other ranked team.

Yardage doesn't tell the whole story. You can rack up a ton of yardage in garbage time, or against weak opponents, or just against a good opponent with a weak defense. Crap, Georgia has had our second team in the second quarter of three of our games. We didn't put up that many yards on Oklahoma because we worked with short fields most of the game due to their turnovers.

But you were criticizing us for not having any wins against good teams, so i will ask you again...which wins does LSU have against good teams?

I'll provide an (unasked for) opinion - we just don't know yet. How's that?

And i agree and think it is the correct opinion. Who know what anybody has at this point. We know Georgia has a weak schedule, but we are typically good. But if we get beat by Alabama, Ole Miss and Florida but win the rest we would have three losses (IF we win the rest), possibly make the playoffs, but have zero good wins. We would be a bad team, probably.

People who crown teams as strong or weak have no clue. As you said, the next few weeks should clear things up a bit, but it's hard to say right now.

My gut feeling, though, is Ole Miss, LSU, Georgia, Alabama and Florida are all very good. LSU has a brutal schedule, as does Ole Miss. Alabama might have the easiest schedule when it is all said and done with. (That will depend on if Mississippi State is for real)

I suppose it is possible, but when I compared LSU's schedule with georgia's you said this:

And we played 2 ranked sec teams out of 4 games.

Were you not saying that we had a weak schedule compared to LSU's to this point?

Yeah, because it is always such an accurate gauge of a team. Similar to the year Alabama played FSU when they were ranked in the top 5, then went on to win something like two games all year. Do you really want to argeu that ranked at the time you play a team is more accurate than record at the end of the year? Go ahead. I'd love to argue against that point.
