If that’s all he said truthfully I don’t believe the ref should have flagged him . That’s a warning during anytime in the game. After 7 OT. That just ignore it and move on.
I thought the stare down from the official was one of the most unprofessional things I have seen an official do in a long time. I am a former official also. The refs job is to make decisions. Not to shame or demean a player.

Supposedly he is not going to play in the bowl game anyway.
I personally think it's shitty of him to bail on his team but obviously he bought into the LSU NFL feeder pipeline.

Perhaps if the refs weren't patting A&M players on the arse when they were thugging it up he wouldn't have been quite so frustrated??

Yes I am torn about that movement. I can’t step in their shoes and understand. But I feel like if you commit to something you finish it . It is what it is.
