LINK

I posted earlier in the year that UF had the #1 rush offense in the country during week 1 and again in week 2. It was mostly a joke - gotta live in the moment you know?

I figured that would drop quickly post bama...

Instead the UF OL ate their lunch for 45 minutes and UF still sits at #2 nationally.

This run game is legit.

Also - How many coaches in the country could go from having the best passing offense in the country to one of the best rushing offenses in the country in just one year? Mullen has got to be one of the best offensive minds in the game right now.

I think that will be a good match up - but as they say...

1 week at a time!

Yeah, but you play the #5 rushing defense this weekend.

Neither the Vols nor the Gators can pass, but neither the Vols nor the Gators can defend the pass. Should be an interesting game.

I want to believe UF's running game is that good but I'm afraid we're about to learn the vaunted Bama defense was/is vastly overrated. Bama's inside linebacker play has been shite since Jeremy Pruitt left. Safety play hasn't been anything to brag about either.
I won't be surprised to see UGA shut down the read option and force UF into a passing game they're not equipped for. I hope I'm wrong.

And Anthony Richardson didn't play. He ain't going down with arm tackles like Emory does.

We were able to overpower Bama who is built on a ton of speed. Georgia has power so we have to find a way to get outside the hedges on them and make their secondary wrap up. No one is better at it than Dan though.

With all due respect I don't believe that's entirely accurate. Bama's DLine held up pretty well and basically was a stalemate for the game. I think it was around 80+ yards rushing without read option or about 4 yards a rush. The problem for Bama was defensive players running into each other, LBs and safeties lost, confused and way out of position, ill timed and totally ineffective blitzes that UF easily picked up OR, Bama defenders ran into the backs of their fellow defensive players.
I mean this as no disrespect to Florida because Mullen's game plan was highly effective and it worked. In addition, Emory executed that offense almost to perfection
