It was the oval tiger that came hand and hand with GP bringing our program back from the dead. We sold our soul to Nike, but when 9 out 10 out of state and even many in state people think your logo is Michigan it’s not the worst idea to change. If we weren’t a dumpster fire for two decades we would still be Block M. No way we go back now that we have fill brand recognition. That said we do wear the throwbacks every year for a game or two.

The top one is the torchbearer patch. It's been on our uni's for eons. The torchebearer is a big thing on campus but it's one that sidewalk fans really don't know much about beyond the fact that there's a statue. This one is modified to show unity between blacks and whites.

Pretty sure it’s white pants. I think I saw something on one of the social media’s that showed a hint of the pants and they were just white.

We don't care about them, obviously.
In all seriousness, it's a unity thing meant to represent just that but I'm sure folks on both left and right will find a way to get offended by it. Design wise I'm not sure it would look right with every skin tone possible represented.

Anyway they already suck.
