LSU vs Miami
I have the tigers winning 24-14. I think it will be an okay game. Offenses don't have too much going on in this game overall. I think Miami will have some success early but LSU wins the time of possession, gets a couple interceptions, gets better field position through out which helps us get easier touchdowns and burrow's short swings to giles and helaire will eventually set up a 50+ yard bomb in the 4th to put the nail in coffin.
Auburn vs Washington
This is the most intriguing game to me As the announcers will blow Browning the whole game but I don't think he have much success against the Auburn D. Washington gets 2-3 touchdowns but not enough rhythm to win. Stidham has a stout game making the throws he has to make and a few key runs to keep drives alive. Auburn will look good in this game and win 34-21 but the game never seemed to be that close
Alabama vs Louisville
No chance here I don't think. Louisville had a Heisman QB who put up 70 against FSU that struggled against a 4 loss LSU team 2 years ago and lost by 3 TDs. This team might have a few good athletes but not enough. the game will be a typical bama game and the score will 13-3 at halftime but with the run game and some long shots in the third quarter bama eventually wins 41-10
Tenn vs WV
I think Tenn will be tougher now that Pruitt is in charge but it will take 2 more years. Tenn will come of short and lose 28-20. Not very good teams at the moment but it will be a good match up. Maybe whenever fall camp starts Tenn might be improved enough to win
Week 2: Clemson vs A&M
I think it will be an electric crowd and a tie game at halftime with the score of 10-10. But with clemsons returning DL I don't think they lose a regular season game. Its crazy who they return. A&M struggles to make noise on offense and Clemson pulls away 27-13.
What are your thoughts? extremely bored working on a slow sunday

LSU and Miami will be the closest of the bunch. The rest are blowouts, but with the same winners/losers you’ve said, IMO.

Where's Arky? What premier prime time matchup do they have to start the season?

agree with most of your list, everything except LSU vs Miami
in your game against the 'Canes, talent level is pretty equal with Miami probably having a SLIGHT edge
But I do not think that Coach O will be able to match wits with Richt
but I HATE that game (insofar as making a prediction) because CMR ALWAYS seemed to frick up the 1st game at UGA; which is the ONLY thing keeping me from being confident with that prediction

Miami having a talent edge is obviously your opinion

You have this weird fascination with Arkansas which is becoming a bit worrisome.
Are you trying to throw shade on us for playing an FCS team when most of the conference does as well? I hate to tell you this but we aren't going to feel too bad about having an FCS team on our schedule when, from what I can tell, the only SEC school who isn't playing an FCS team this year is USC.

TAMU has the best chance of an upset. They're catching Clemson early in the season, they have the home field advantage and Jimbo is very familiar with CU.

Miami beats LSU down. A 10 point LSu win is homerism. Miami dominates from start to finish.
31-13 Miami win
Giving LSu 13 points with a 3rd string castoff is generous but they get a punt or kickoff return for a TD.
Auburn and washington- Aubie just loses. They play their usual early season crap game and lose a game they shouldn't.
They have some big wins as the season goes on but they have UGA and Bama on the road and they don't get all the lucky bounces they get in JHS. 27-23
Tenn will beat WVA. As much as this pains me, UT will be much tougher than with Butch. Traditional unis back, black shoes, disciplined personnel. 34-20
A&M and Clemson- Clemson wins by a hair. Jimbo will turn A&M around but not this quick. This will be the best game of the weekend. 20-16

yeah, I was thinking of the last 2 recruiting classes, but y'all were roughly 10 spots ahead of them the 2 years before that; so maybe edge to LSU; but it is pretty close
CBS has y'all at 6 and them at 16 (5 year average)
the 2 years before Richt they were worse than I thought though, so my bad
I'd still have to pick them to win because Richt > Orgeron

RB and maybe overall CB depth is the only position I can think of that Miami may have a slight edge. LSU is loaded and deep at every position except those two positions this year.

Your an idiot. You probably know very little about EIU and some of the football greatness that has went/coached at that school.
Of course they are not a football program anywhere near an SEC program, but I bet you would be surprised to know some people that have been there.
Tony Romo, former quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League
Brad Childress, former head coach of the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League
Ray Fisher, former lineman for Pittsburgh Steelers and Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League[44]
Jimmy Garoppolo, quarterback for San Francisco 49ers
Kamu Grugier-Hill, NFL linebacker for the Philadelphia Eagles
Jeff Gossett, NFL Pro Bowl punter[45]
Mike Heimerdinger, former NFL Offensive Coordinator with the New York Jets, Denver Broncos and Tennessee Titans, died 2011[46]
Otis Hudson, NFL offensive lineman with the Cincinnati Bengals[47]
John Jurkovic, former NFL defensive lineman[48]
Ray McElroy, NFL defensive back for Chicago Bears, Indianapolis Colts and Detroit Lions
Sean Payton, head coach of the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League[49]
Ted Petersen, former lineman for Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Browns and Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League[50]
Mike Shanahan, former head coach of the Washington Redskins, Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Raiders of the National Football League[51]
Chris Szarka, fullback for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League[52]
Pierre Walters, linebacker, Kansas City Chiefs, of the National Football League[53]

LSU vs Miami
I also think LSU wins this game. Miami has had similar QB issues to LSU the last couple of years and they don’t have the athleticism advantage to bail them out in this game. LSU will struggle to score, but I think they win in a 17-10 type game.
Auburn vs Washington
I think Auburn wins this game fairly easily. Washington doesn’t have the talent up front to matchup with Auburn and the DL will dominate. Later in the year, I think this would be an epic blowout, but Auburn is replacing some guys on the OL, so I can see a couple turnovers and negative plays slowing us down. I think it ends up a 27-17 type game.
Bama vs Louisville
If Bama doesn’t win this game by 40, I’ll be shocked. It was obvious how little Louisville had last year around Lamar Jackson and now QB becomes another weakness with a brand new starter. This game will likely be a blowout at the half with Saban calling off the dogs and winning something like 52-10.
WVU vs Tennessee
West Virginia has some interesting pieces, but I don’t think this will be a great team. That said, Tennessee will be bad again this year as they will have some growing pains early in the year with a new coach. The benefits of a new coach will show up later, but Grier is too much here. 34-20

They’re going to be a slight favorite and that’s the reason.I think LSU’s D and special teams win a close one.
