I like USF here with points or straight up. That mad little Russian is a chess player. And, they get BSU in August in Florida

So what’s the consensus… hoping for an earthquake or asteroid?

“Plus USM bring their whole team back. And by their team I mean Marshall's team, which was pretty good last year. At Marshall.”

While it is true that 20 Marshall players followed Coach Huff to Hattiesburg, only 5 of them were starters. The QB is an excellent player and USM will be improved measurably this year. But with this being the first game of the season and coupled with the fact that State will have an advantage upfront on both sides of the LOS, I think we will be okay. Maybe some early emotion that we will have to weather from USM. Now as far as the score or the point spread, I have no idea on either of them. Hopefully we will show the improvement that we are all expecting and take care of business in Hattiesburg Saturday.

I expect State to look a lot better in Year 2 with a full year for them to get guys to fit systems.

I don't know how many more wins that will translate to, but games like this I'd expect them to be a lot better.
