We are as mystified as everybody else, about this. The only thing one poster came up with is that Kirby answered the question about his coaching ability (Somewhat) and Chubb showed he is back....and Eason looked good.
It's early. We don't expect to be there a real long time.

As another poster pointed out on our board, it looks high at first, but we were 16th preseason. 4 teams ahead of us lost. We jumped Tennessee, Iowa, and TCU, all of whom struggled against inferior opponents. Not that big of a deal.
I'd be more concerned with the bump given to Texas and Wisconsin who shot into the polls from being completely unranked.

Yep. There's some logic behind Georgia's jump. There's nothing but irrational over-exuberance to explain Wisconsin or Texas' bounce.
