Yep, not surprised. The media has always overrated Texas in the polld. But to go from unranked to number 11 in an overtime win over the 10th ranked team is an absolute joke. Imo coaches poll is a much better poll because of less media bias.

I'm just glad they didn't gift us the spot of the team we just beat this year like they did in 2014 (moved us to #9 to replace South Carolina) and 2015 (moved us to #16 to replace Arizona State)

I mean, we can be upset about them putting Wisconsin so high and dropping us that low at the same time, but let's face the facts. There is a very good chance this LSU team won't be in the top 25 when the season is over anyways.

25 and 26 should be off the board. I thought we're supposed to punish programs that schedule shite/look like shite. Just schedule Florida A&M your first game and you can be ranked.

The only poll that matters comes out after week 7 I believe, this is just good for fodder. As a UGA fan in no way do I think the dawgs are the 9th best team in the land, get back to me at the end of the month after they travel to Columbia and Oxford.

Right. A&M went from #21 to #9 after beating the #9 team in the country and also got 2 first place votes. Must have been a conspiracy.
