And we don't need to brag about recruiting rankings in August anymore than Alabama or UGA does. Let's leave that up to the Vol fans.
Says the LSU fan in a thread with bragging about LSU's recruiting rankgs.
Third grade was long and hard on you, wasn't it?
I wasn't bragging about anything you stupid frick. Another LSU fan started the thread. I wish he hadn't. Go open a few more accounts or something.

Such name calling. Proves my point.

Roster was gutted when he got here.
LSU was ranked #8 in the 247 Talent Composite in 2022 (only behind Bama, UGA, and A&M in the SEC). So I'd say he inherited a pretty talented roster.
I'm not getting into this debate again. It's been discussed ad nauseum on here. Go with whatever talking points you want.

He inherited a disaster and that team was picked to finish last in the West. He won the West year one
And couldn't cash it in. frickin' guy got butt fricked in the last game of the regular season by the very worst team and coach in the conference. Only a select few hold the distinction of beating Nick Saban and actually doing something with it. The boy grinder isn't one of them.

Yes, LSU lost to UGA in the SEC Championship. UGA was (obviously) the best team in the country. Runner-up in the best conference in the country was excellent work.

There was some talent but much of it wasn't developed, only like 2 of the 5 five stars on that team even contributed. For instance, Boutte was one of "most talented" players on that roster but was probably a net negative.
And then certain positions like corner, quarterback, and running back basically had little to no experience or depth.

Is this before or after the Kade Phillips flip from Texas

He recruited well at ND, managed to lose any game that actually mattered.
That's always been the knock against Kelly.

How do you possibly explain the curb stomping tennessee and georgia put on lsu in 2022 and how is that gonna change going forward?
Who hasn't lost games like that? Especially in their first year.
Your coach got his arse whipped by South Carolina that same year.
He got it whipped by Florida last year.
How is that going to change going forward?

He has about shot his wad with 24 commits.

They did...they didn't get the title because they were in the East.
They just beat the best teams in the West. I'm one one of those "what happened on the field guys." I know, sounds crazy...but....

Most of his classes were ranked in the teens on average. That's good but not elite. He's recruited better at LSU on average. Is that enough to make a difference? Remains to be seen.

Which filter are you using?
If you go to On3,
And choose the 2025 Class, it looks like this, notice the date:
On3 2025 Team Rankings
And this is 24/7
24/7 2025 Team Rankings

He's just using On3's rankings. You listed the composite rankings, which are an average of On3, 247, Rivals and ESPN.

Many of the posters on this board hold BK to a higher standard than they hold their own guys.
Very weird.
And it isn't like LSU fans here are constantly claiming he's some elite coach or something, he's just a good coach.
Probably #2-4 in the SEC, depending on who you ask.

Wait, someone not from the South can recruit in the SEC?
Oh shite...
