In the 2022 season Texas opponents had a total of 2 holding penalties called against them (combined).

HornsFans just posted the stat on their twitter account. I haven't gone through every game, but it sounds about right. Keep in mind, the d-line this season were some edge rushing fools.

Will Anderson didn't have an opponent called for holding in his 3 seasons at Alabama as of like 4 weeks ago. I don't remember one in the last few games so it may have happened, but try and imagine that one.

Seems totally reasonable. Texas needs to tell the Big 12 to get fricked.
In the TCU game, Herbstreit, Holly Rowe, and the TCU player himself were all laughing that he'd gotten away with a blatant hold for a big gain. Then a play or two later was when their RB took it to the house.

I agree the SEC's officiating is also shite, but I don't think they'll be outright maliciously fricking us (unless we're playing Alabama).
And from the Big 12's perspective, I get it. I would frick us too.

BS…we had 15 penalties called against us when we played Texas this year. Total BS refs in the SEC!

Get used to it. The next two seasons will be worse. A&M, Mizzou, Colorado and Nebraska went through it too. Fortunately we all had just one season of it.
