That place was better than present day Cracker Barrel in its prime. The prices were a little high but I use to get the hamburger steak supreme.

The Whataburger double combo is the best fast food burger joint order in the history of mankind. If you disagree then you are the lowest form of life on earth. Nothing else is even close.

Can't say I really hate any of them. As long as I can pick the toppings, hard to frick it up. I will say I probably like Jack in the box least when it comes to burgers, very dry. And Hardee's/Carl's Jr is always a disappointment.
I like grilled flavor the best, so most times I end up at Burger King or Dairy Queen. I wouldn't say they are the best, but they are everywhere(especially BK) and not overpriced.
I missed Steak n Shake when I lived in California and Arizona. Also no sonic in Cali. The best they had in California was probably 5 guys, but that's not a drive thru.
The most overpriced burger place I've ever eaten at was smashburger. It was good, but about 3 times what it should have been.
