That has been a long time.
It's also been a long time since Alabama beat Tennessee in any major sport. Bama's last win against Tennessee in:
Football - 10/21/2023 (Tennessee won last meeting)
Men's Basketball - 12/29/2021 (Tennessee won last 4 meetings)
Women's Basketball - 2/8/2024 (Tennessee won last 2 meetings)
The exception...Baseball - 3/17/2024 (this was actually the most recent meeting, so Tennessee had to console themselves with a National Championship)

Clearly Barns has translated that into being more successful in the tournament than Oats, right?
Look, Barns has done a good job, but Tennessee under Barns has had a fairly mediocre post-season record when compared to how well they did during the regular season.
Two of his SEC title seasons ended in the second round of the NCAAT.
Is this the season Barns makes it to the Final Four, or at least a second trip to the Elite Eight? Or will he drop before making it to the Sweet 16?

Tennessee has certainly gotten after us lately, especially in Knoxville. Feels like we've lost every game we've played up there in every sport lately minus last year's Softball Super.
