Honestly it really does not matter who Auburn hires as long as they have their BOT they are screwed.

I’ve read it on the interwebs so it must be true….

That doesn't mean he isn't looking for the right time and best situation for himself. Are you saying he will never leave? NFL is another opportunity if the situation is right for him. Like many fans on here saying the same thing including some Ole Miss fans.

$100MM? That’s cute.
We’re in the middle of a $350MM capital campaign.
$215MM of that is earmarked for football.

In reality, there is nothing compelling to make Lane dumb enough to chain himself to a program like Auburn
Fixed. This reminds me of the Saban to Texas days. Sure, Texas has more money than anyone, but their boosters are control freaks. Sound familiar? How many have coached at Au and had a career after? And Lane is what, the 10th or 11th highest paid coach in college football?

Heady days, bro.

A bunch of LSU fans on this site downright convinced themselves he was really going to Austin.

Kiffin is the 11th highest paid coach in college football. He made more than $1,000,000/year than Harsin (before he was fired).

You might get him. Just know you’ll have to make him the highest paid coach in college football to do it.

He’s overpaid as it is.

what the market will bear.

Doesn’t matter what you think, it matters what it will cost. Highest paid coach in college football AND the Ole Miss buyout is what it will take
