We all need an Equestrian Team

All 4 SEC Schools with Equestrian teams play each other this week, which was interesting to me.


Week 12 November 16
Georgia @ Auburn +3
South Carolina @ Texas A&M -10.5


Who cares, right? But then I started doing a little digging and found out that these Equestrian teams are no small things. I thought this was a country club sport like tennis or golf, with a dozen or so players, but oh hell no. These rich arse people come from all over to do this stuff.

Auburn has 34 ... whatever you call them, players, riders, whatever.
Carolina has 40
A&M has 50
Georgia has 64!

Hey and some of them are also the coaches too.

So I think we can all get behind this and move some money around (hell they are all rich and don't need scholly's) and jump into the fray.

Kentucky, you would probably dominate.
Vandy, lots of rich smart girls with horses in Nashville.
Florida, with Ocala like 30 miles away would have an advantage as well.
Tennessee, you got those walking horses, right? We can get a new category for you.


I think we all need to take another look at this, and if a rowing team or a Lacrosse organization needs to be sacrificed, I think it is only the right thing to do.
