Treon's been so hard to get a read on. I'll come away from a game feeling like he played poorly, yet his stats will wind up better than I would have guessed. His inconsistency throwing the ball is what frustrates me the most. In one series he'll throw an incompletion or two, and then throw a floater up for grabs, only to follow it up in the next series by hitting the right reads, in stride, and steadily moving the chains. Some of his throws against SCar were a little concerning, as he's always been good about protecting the ball. He does seem to finish strong though, which is hard not to like. I still don't think the staff have zeroed in on his sweet spot yet.

As for FSU, maybe that's when they zero in on it. You might be right about the staff protecting him for this game. It would make sense. I view FSU onward as "bold statement" opportunities in which we'll have the chance to maybe sway a few recruits who might not be as high on us as we'd like, but in which we can't really do anything that's going to drastically hurt the momentum we've generated heading into next year. It's definitely been a fun year.

Both FSU and Alabama will play their best games of the year against UF. Florida won't score a touchdown against Alabama. Whatever the line is, bet Alabama. AS for FSU, it will be close. Florida will stop Cook for the most part. But, they will give up enough big plays either to Cook or the long pass play to lose the game.

IF they play Michigan in the bowl game, they will lose that one also simply because the advantages Michigan will have. They are very familiar with Florida's OC, and their DC is very familiar with Florida's personnel. Not to mention, they have the best DL coach in the game, and he used to be at Florida also. The last team Florida wants to play in the bowl game is Michigan.

So, finishing the season on a 3 game losing streak will put a damper on the season and ironically, Gator fans will be disappointed with a 4 loss season.

And, we get to hear ohio state fans rant about how overrated the SEC is for another year.
