I think you attempted to troll ya, but your second picture is from our lowest point ever and that regime is gone, just one season later we are headed back to the tournament with a team that has the potential to make a run with the right draw.
Conzo is killing recruiting in St Louis which that city alone would lock us into being an annual top 20 recruiting team.

The answer is obvious but pretty dull. They made a bad coaching hire and it dragged the program down for a bit.
Kim Anderson was not up to the job and he stayed long enough that Mizzou is having to do a rebuild.
Arkansas was a top 5 program in football not that long ago but John L. Smith followed by Bert pretty well put paid to that. Now we are having to do a rebuild.
A bad coaching hire can make any program look bad. Ask the older Alabama fans about the post Stallings era they suffered through.
Mizzou will be fine in the long run.
