I’m not saying this happened.

It is curious though that Tenn threw their Freshman pitchers, instead of their starters. A loss moved you out of OUs bracket and into FSUs. Is your coach basically saying we can’t beat OU; but maybe we can at least make the final series. If so ; it doesn’t surprise me , considering it’s Tenn.

Your not beating FSU, so it died t really matter.

You’re right. It’s pretty much a lock.

It’s just such a bush league move.

Ok, well good luck to UGA in their games today I guess. Vols won a regional and lost a WCWS game yesterday. I didn’t see UGA field a team yesterday so maybe they play today?

The best team of all time isn’t losing in OKC. I’m sure the crowds will be massive for the championship series and whichever team makes it through to the slaughter.

Stanford and Florida State might have something to say. Nowhere near a lock yet.

Yep.

Just a few weeks ago everyone was talking about how unbeatable Dawn Staley's WBB team was.

No matter how you get there I don't see anyone taking down Oklahoma.

I thought it was kind of dumb to not pitch your 2 best pitchers in the biggest game of the year.

You have a better chance of beating them in one game like yesterday and then hoping they lose somehow before you get to the 3 game series.

Now they have no margin of error against other really good teams. Either way, it was going to be a long shot to even beat them once so it is what it is. Hopefully they can get a couple of more wins and stay a little longer.

No matter who won or lost yesterday they were both going to be in different brackets. Had Tenn won they send OU to other bracket too.

I don’t like what Tenn coach did. Wasn’t fair to the other 8 starters to not put your best pitcher out there. Softball pitchers don’t wesr out arms like baseball.

Plus if you beat OU then you put doubt into their club, and make them play an extra game. All these teams are good and anyone can win on any given day.

Yes but had you burned your ace and lost then you have zero shot today in the elimination game. Which was far more likely than not. Probably 80% chance you lost.

OU is not losing.

Burned your ace?

If you win you get a day off

If you lose you can pitch ace again

Losers mentality to not start your best pitcher

If afraid to play then why is Tenn in playoffs? Could have stayed home and given slot to someone else

By not starting their ace, I believe the message sent to that Vol squad was they're playing scared. Also, you still have to score offensive points whether it was yesterday or in the future and that sure didn't happen. Good luck if they meet again...

Good lard. Y’all kept needing and needling this.

Vols Ace didn’t start because it’s her time of the month and the cramps were pretty bad. The cramps are not as bad and it’s not a heavy flow day today so she will be available.

I could be completely wrong, but didn't y'all have a couple pitchers you sat yesterday over who you started and played throughout the day? Now it's female medical issues? Mmmkay

Tennessee’s ace has lingering injury problems.
