they all got from beating Bama, sure hope UGA takes advantage of that this year the way LSU did in 2020.

After giving up a trash-TD to keep it within double digits to Alabama, LSU knew it would be a cakewalk to yet another national championship.

And LSU did not shite with that momentum.

Alabama has lost three games and won multiple titles, multiple Heismans along with a Rose Bowl and Cotton Bowl since that game. I don’t think that loss bothers many gumps but I do think it exposes that for LSU fans - that one win is all they have.

Went undefeated and won the Nattie. What else would that team have done with the momentum?

Most of those players all got drafted after 2019, the position coaches left and the head coach went on a 2 year bender.

It's funny as hell that a post that's meant to take a shot at LSU still gets some Bama baws riled up. That game still so in their head they can't read it straight.

I’m not talking about the game. Following that season - it’s been shite. Because of that LSU fans cling to 46-41 way tighter than they would if LSU had been worth a damn since.

The exact meaning of the OP. Yet you've had to tell us that two extra times.

Nice melt. The OP was talking about Herbstreit’s comments about the LSU ‘19 players (he specifically mentioned Burrow, Chase, Helaire and Jefferson) taking confidence from whipping that immensely talented Alabama team on the road.

That was no trash td. Smith beat the corner an it went 78 yards for a td to pull within 1 score. LSPoo had to pick up a 1st down to seal a 5 point win.
