How many SEC East championships does Missouri have since joining the SEC? Oh wow, two of them? How many has Tennessee won during that time? Surely they have won more than Missouri. Wait, they have won zero? How many winning seasons has Tennessee had during that same time frame? Oh really, six? Wow, Missouri must have a better football program than Tennessee.

Missouri outplayed us at most every position.
You have a very talented team. Enjoy your win and the rest of the season. We on the other hand hopefully will make a few coaching changes. I agree with you, we looked flat and nonchalant, as if we really didn't care. I can stand losing if we play hard, I do not enjoy losing when we act as if we don't even care to compete. Again congrats and good luck moving forward.

Actually yes. Since 2012 UT has 7 winning seasons compared to 5 of Mizzou. The difference is this is during UT worse stretch in history, while from 2005-2023 is Mizzou best stretch in school history.

So even when Mizzou is at its best, and UT is at its worse, UT has still been the better program. Yes Mizzou is 6-6 against the Vols all time, but they have only beat 2 Vol teams that had winning records. Gary Pinkel, their best coach ever had success against our worst coaches ever Dooley, Butch and Pruitt.

2012-2023- Best stretch in Mizzou football history. Pinkel is best coach in Mizzou History.

2012-2021- Worst stretch in UT history. Butch, Dooley, and Pruitt, worse 3 coaches in school history, and Pruitt has a case for worst coach in NCAA history

Congrats on Mizzou coming into the SEC when the Vols was at its worse times and they was at its best. They had their chance to gain ground and they have done anything since 2014. But when you compare their best time in history to our best stretch in history it looks a lot different. We have our coach, and don’t expect UT to have anymore years like the Pruitt, Dooley, and Butch years.

Are you a fricking idiot? Maybe you want to check the facts before you get on here opening your mouth. But let’s take a look at the 7 winning seasons since 2012:

2023- 7-3 currently
2021- 11-2
2020- 7-5
2019- 8-5
2016- 9-4
2015- 9-4
2014- 7-6

Maybe my math is off, but can you count?

Think it's pretty obvious, Tennessee was looking ahead to Georgia.

Anyone can have a 25 year slump. Dumb luck Mizzou jumped into the conference during this tiny window.

The official records show that Tennessee was 0-5 in 2019. And 0-7 in 2020. But even if they didn’t have to vacate their wins in 2020, they were still just 3-7.

Tennessee is historically a top 10 program, and that is according to the AP media. AP done an All Time Ranking between 1936-2022 end of season. And during this time they have the Vols are #10.

Also according to Forbes, the Vols are one to the top 15 most valuable football programs in the country. Think Forbes has UT at #12 most valuable programs a as they projected in $113 million annually in the poll that Fox done prior to the 2023 season.

All time current SEC rankings for UT:
All Time wins - #3 (874) #2 prior to vacating wins under Pruitt.

All Time win %- #2 (.673)

National Titles - #2 (6)

Conference Championships- #2 (16;) (13 SEC titles, 2 SoCon, 1 SIAA)

Bowl app- #3 (55-#5 FBS)
Weeks in AP poll- #5(615 weeks)
Weeks AP #1- #5( 21 weeks)

Mizzou doesn’t even compare. Prior to 2012, Mizzou had 4 season in school history where you won 10 or more games. Now I’ll hang up and listen to you talk about one of your best seasons in school history(2023).

Technically yes. But on the field, we all know Tennessee is the better program even when we are down. It’s funny you have to hope for UT to vacate wins to even be able to say you are “equal”. This tells me all I needed to know what you really think of your program.

1998 and before that AFH.

So nobody under the age of 30 has any memory of Tennessee being relevant and before 1998 it was the 1800s.

AP Media voted UT as a top 10 program of all time.

No one dead or alive has seen Mizzou win a national title ever.

Prior to 1998 you only won 10 or more games like 2 times ever.

1960. For whatever reason Mizzou hasn’t claimed it.

I’d rather be good the last 20 years than Tennessee.

done 6 other times in 122 years. If they win 10 games this year it will be the 7 time ever for 10 plus wins in a season.

Mizzou has already secured their 5th winning season since joining the SEC in 2012. You should be very proud of this season, as you may not have another season like this again for awhile. You was the better team this weekend and deserved the win more. This win truly means more to Mizzou than it does the Vols. No Vols fan would watch a game we won 5 times after the fact. This tells us we are your standard and we are happy for you. Congrats and best of luck the rest of the season.

Guarantee this douche rushed the field last year after win over Bama. GtFo

Takes special talent to have a slump of 105 years though. Mizzou been playing football since 1901, and have only won 8 or more games 25 times. That’s 25 times in 122 years.

UT worse stretch in history is comparable to Mizzou best stretch in History. And yet with even when UT was at its worse, Mizzou is 6-6 against the Vols overall, 1-4 last 5 games, and has only beat 2 Vols teams with winning records during this time. Their best coach in history can brag for having wins against Dooley, Butch and Pruitt. I’m proud of them they are having a magical season by Mizzou standards. Good job Mizzou and hope you win out. You should get a chance to know what a NY6 bowl games feels like, you deserve it.
