So when you said I could use "any metric I wanted" you actually meant "any metric that you wanted". Interesting.
Actually, I believe your bayou education and comprehension are causing you great consternation and making it impossible for you to properly evaluate the discussion at hand.
What I'm saying cajun boy, is that the metric you seem to be singularly embracing is a poor representation of the historical narrative of this long and one-sided rivalry.

Georgia won the national title in 1980 and Buck Belue went like 1/7 in the Sugar Bowl against Notre Dame. Auburn won the SEC and went 11-1 in 1983 with the extremely limited Randy Campbell at QB. Back then, you just wanted a QB that could hand it off and not fumble or throw interceptions.

Watched ‘83 Orange Bowl. Alan Risher was turrible!
How did the Tigers win 8 games with that bum?
Yep, 'turrible' enough to beat Ole Miss 45-8, Florida 24-13, and 5th ranked Florida State 55-21. Oh, and he beat the Skoal Drool Subhuman Toothless Gumpneck Things in Bumminhayum 20-10. Of course, Alan didn't have to be very efficient that day (though he generated 4 scoring drives and threw a TD pass).
Why, because he had Dalton Hilliard and a defense that gave up in the first half:
ZERO first downs
FIVE yards total offense to the Skoal Drool Things.
LSU finished 8-2-1 in 1982, with the only losses to Miss. State (by 3), Tulane (by 3 in a monsoon), and Nebraska (by 1).

Just the voice of reason. I could see where you might be confused.

Well this was another LSU-cessed bama post.
It had all the fixins of a great time:
Bamamiester talkin' bout reading and comp without a comma in sight....even after edits.
Bamameister talkin' bout asterisked teams that were 'injury riddled', even after 2020.
Random bama fans diggin' deep in the crates with a random LSU/Nebraska game.....after that LSU team beat the legend at Legion field.
So many things to laugh at, again. Thas' why I come here.
