When you post that MSU still finished ahead of Om in the final analysis, it makes OM beating MSU even more relevant! You should be embarrassed to call attention to the fact that INSPITE of your BIG season we dashed your NC playoff and your DAK for Heisman hopes.
Dak should have been limping because a Rebel was in his face almost every play!
That was one of the most awesome wins of an Egg Bowl by Ole Miss that you could ever witness. We didn't do it with cheap shots and threats, just smash mouth in your face determination!
You can call it arrogance, delusion or whatever adjective you wish, but it IS what it IS!
We played a poor bowl game with even more starters out. A Bowl game is icing on the cake for a season, and we still "GET THE PAY OUT!"
We're way ahead of where we even hoped to be
after Nutt nearly decimated the football program "heppin'" himself to the big bucks, but we are a tough bunch. We believe in our program and have it headed in the right direction.
It IS what it IS....a damn good one!
