I assume by watch out for Ole Miss, you mean it in the same way someone might get warned to avoid stepping in dog mess in the backyard? A sort of you don't want to get Ole Miss on your shoes?
I couldn't resist, too easy a target. Ole Miss should be fairly good next year, we will see how they hold together over the long haul of the season.

This is the first time since 2011 we haven't sent at least 5 players to the draft
How many did y'all end up sending? Hunter, Collins, Kwon...is that it?

I'll say it again...Harris plays above average and LSU is gonna go bizerk

Y'all made news last year for racism, so check yourself. Oxford is progressive for N. Mississippi, just like Oxford is "really nice" compared to N. Mississippi.
To be clear, your big exciting recruit was going to sign wherever his brother worked. Good on Freeze for hiring the brother.
Swallowed a brother to get Kim Deachy, too.

Ole Miss blows horse cock. You all know it. And for all you fricks arguing that you guys have been good in the recent past, the title of this thread refutes that. Get fricked!

In recent history Ole Miss was a doormat for the SEC.
quote:A moment of clarity from an OM fan. Refreshing.
Sure on a down year for an opponent and with some luck maybe Ole Miss was a threat.
quote:Teams don't circle the calender for 9-4 teams that got slaughtered in its bowl game 42-3.
Now everyone will have a circle around Ole Miss.
quote:Really?
The difference is recruiting.
quote:Trying to recruit african-americans to a school that is basically a shrine to the troops that tried to win a war to keep them enslaved will do that.
What hindered Ole Miss was racist traditions and negative recruiting. Ole Miss was an easy target
quote:I never thought I'd see these in the same sentence.
Without the baggage Ole Miss offers a blend of southern culture and progressive thinking
quote:42-3
It doesn't hurt that Ole Miss may have lost some close ball games but we've never lost a party.
quote:The pretty girls to dorky looking guys ratio has to be the steepest of any campus on the planet.
Also the ratio of girls to guys is ridiculous and the quality of beauty in those women is legendary.

Ole Miss is surely going to be a fixture in the elite ranks of College Football for many years to come.
OM won 9 games. Vandy did that twice with James Franklin.

So if Ole Miss blows CountryBumkin, why have they basically split the series with LSU the last 7 years?

The past seven years LSU leads the series 4-3. But if you look at the 5, 10, 15 year totals it paints a clearer picture of the suckage he alludes to.......
15 years- LSU 11 OM 4
10 years- LSU 7 OM 3
5 years- LSU 4 OM 1

You do realize that we are going to be better next year? It is hard for any SEC team to accurately forecast the outcome of the wars we wage each Saturday. Any given Saturday it can go either way.
All I know is that our QB is 100% going to be better next year. No more Good Bo Bad Bo to worry about. Machinegun Kelly is going to be an upgrade for sure. Also we are going to have a better backfield. Our RBs have been lacking production, which is a hugh weakness in game planning. This has also been partly due to our OL not being solid. Our OL is going to be vastly improved. Our defense has been good but thin. Next year it will be as good but deeper. Ole Miss will be better next year.
Now several of our SEC rivals may be better also. LSU will be better, Arkansas should be better, but other than them, it is hard to see anyone being better. So I like our chances of 8 wins but we could end up with more or less.

It amazes me that y'all say this when he hasn't even played a down on the SEC. Sure, he has potential, but calm down in the predictions that he will be better than the best QB statistically y'all have ever had.

Bo Wallace doesn't know how to ready a defense or look off a receiver, a la Jevan Snead. Swag has proven he is able to shred defenses and is far better mechanics wise as well.
