wow, so every Bama play is a hold or just poor play by LSU? Got it.

757 yards, 13 TDs wracked up by Ford, Ware, and Blue against such stellar OOC opponents as Northwestern State and Western Kentucky

This was mostly Blue.

I'm pretty sure Ford and Ware were taken out during the 2nd quarter of these games.

what's the over/under of Lacy fumbles inside the 20? I like the guy but he gives me flashbacks of Danny Woodson. Guy was always a threat to break off a big play but also a threat to fumble in the process.

I think the Bama haters who are desperately hoping that our run game is going to drop off are going to be very disappointed

Lacy did NOT have a fumble problem last year. He handled it.

I think I've seen Lacy fumble maybe once, hopefully this won't be a problem!

That's all it is. Anyone that has watched EL run know how talented he is. Lots of false hope for other fanbases.

Lacy isn't as good as MI or TR. He may be as physically talented as MI, but I don't think he has the mental drive of either of those guys. Those two were special in the regard.

However, he is as good as anything I'VE SEEN on the LSU team. And he'll be running behind a better offensive line than any that MI or TR had. And teams, at least early on, probably won't put everyone on the line to stop him like they did MI and TR, and the passing game should improve and help give him some more room.

You guys remember Glenn Coffee? Lacy is a lot better than he is.

but but but we can't hype our players because it makes us homers, and dammit if we're not saying LSU's players are better, then we're GUMPSZZZZ

That's what I've been saying. Coffee rushed for almost 1400 yards while giving up carries to Ingram and Upchurch and I think Lacy is better than Coffee. If he stays healthy, no reason to think he won't put up Coffee-type numbers.

I was referring to the Northwestern St. and Western Kentucky games. Not the entire season.

I know, and it was pretty obvious that I knew. I was just pointing out that your guys had plenty of fourth quarter carries between them.

I sincerely appreciate the Bama Love and everyone elses hate in this thread... I've been baffled by how everyone was thinking Bama's running game of all things would be suffering... w/o Lacy we will be a strong running team... the rantards on here are funny and have short memories if they can't recall the back to back 1st down runs with Lacy spinning and carrying tacklers past the sticks for 10yd+ carries... it seems some Bama fans have forgotten too... cause Lacy is tougher than y'all think.. CIRCLE BUTTON!!!

The people who think our run game is going to be lacking are 19 year old kids who think star power at the HB position is what makes a good run game. Ole Miss' 3rd string HB could get 1,400 yards behind Bama's o-line if we gave him the same amount of touches as Richardson.

These same rantards who are hoping our run game drops off are the same ones who are certain our defense will suffer this year due to attrition....these homers know nothing about Alabama
