These are the kind of threads that make it easy to get banned. I understand confidence, but damn most of these posts are bordering on delusional.

So you've seen five running backs on Alabama's depth chart that are equal to the talent LSU's bringing at the position?

LSU has excellent depth and above average talent. Talent is not what makes that HB crew special. None of those guys are 1st rounders.

Agreed. But I think a big reason for that is because those guys are all on the same team. If they were divided amongst five schools with less depth at the position I would think one or two of them have the potential to be.

He said talent, and he is right. We have just as much, if not more, TALENT at RB as LSU. LSU has more experience though.

You should pull out your handy dandy experience/seniority scale and compare the two.

not sure about that, i highly doubt bama is 4 deep, and add hill to the mix, that makes 5. not that it matters though, it's not like football is played with 5 balls.

To the OP:

Somewhat hyperbolic statements are not tolerated here, unless they're about LSU and it's on Tiger Rant. Then you can say the most ludicrous things imaginable.

It was easy for Lacey to get overshadowed in that backfield. He played behind a Heisman Trophy winner and a Heisman finalist. The kid is a monster and it will show this season how much of a beast he really is. You poor bastards don't know what you are in for my friends.

Lacy is probably the best back I've ever seen at this level. He's pretty much a lock for the Heisman, barring injury, and is the surefire #1 pick. I mean, he plays for Alabama. Nuff said
