Lacy is a good back but he isn't TR or MI at least not yet.

Eddie Lacy is the third best back in the SEC this year and may put up better numbers than the top two.

just wanted to finish the story for you. It's not like he avg 10 yards a carry vs LSU last year. In fact both games combined he hit for under four yards per carry.
For the SEC season lacy avg 5.3 yards per carry and had four TDs.
By comparison Hilliard avg 6 yards per carry with six TDs in SEC action.

on nov 5 when lsu won in tuscaloosa lacy had 3.8 ypc against north texas 17 ypc. against auburn he a 2 ypc. what a back. like any 5 of lsu's rb couldn't crack that against nt or auburn

our 3rd rb alfred blue got 74 yards in 4 carries vs. ole miss, lacy got 22 yards in 5 carries vs ole miss.

That's like saying Tyrann had 3 or 4 catches on him in one game so he is overrated. Oh wait, that's just the cheerio kids, that doesn't count. Not directed to you, but UA has a lot of 'geniuses'. (I guess every fanbase does though).

Which injury? I think he had a minor shoulder injury following one of the spring scrimmages but seemed good to go on A-day. At any rate, Lacy, Fowler, and Hart were all working at RB this morning (Yeldon and Drake in the afternoon) and no mention of any injuries. In fact, one practice report said that Lacy looked the best he has in practice since last September.

I thoroughly believe I am the only Bama fan on the rant that knew Lacy would not live up to the hype by Bama fans, by a mile. I have a post somewhere around here that said he wouldn't even reach 1,000 yards.

I think he is looking better with each game. Run blocking and play calling is not helping him much but he is starting to look healthy again. One problem for his avg. , he is now the short yardage back.
