Just cause you try to bang that stat in our heads over and over and over and over again doesn't make it more convincing...FACT.

We have 2 RBs with plenty of game experience. I really can't understand where it is you are coming up with this 1 RB bullshite at.

Lacy and Fowler saw plenty of game time over the last 2 years and have proven themselves time and time again. The only guy we are speculating on is yeldon And I haven't even looked at this rivals film. I saw what I ended to see in the spring game and from what I heard come out of coach Sabans mouth. When is the last time you have heard him talk as much about an incoming freshman as he has

Thanks

no one cares about guys coming back that have scored TDs?

Would you rather return QBs, WRs, and RBs, with none, few, or many TDs in their careers?

I'm going with many TDs, but I'm sure bama fans will spin it the other way around.

Well this is why we've recruited the guys, because we want them to score touchdowns. They'll have them soon enough...I keep seeing a number quite larger than 31 too.

Are you saying TR took those TD's with him, and we'll never get them back? This doesn't seem fair. How many TD's did the RB's that left LSU last year take with them? It seems like you guys have more to use. I'm going to need to talk to Mark Emmert about this.

Maybe if another bama fan posts about how awesome TJ Yeldon's practices were, I would change my mind.

I initially gave Bama credit for 2 RBs. I think Lacy is the only true proven one. Fowler may prove himself this year, but I dont know if he has what it takes to carry the load if Lacy goes down.

How does it help when all but one or two of them are going to be sitting on the bench at all times? You expecting the next big RB Virus outbreak to kill 3 of them or what? Guys sitting on the bench are not going to help move the ball. I guess it makes your roster look pretty though.

Wow. You are really dumb and should never post again.

Are you the special kid in the classroom yelling at the desk in front of you, while the rest of class has a converstion about something else?

When you can quote an entire statement and respond to it in its entirety, I will bother to address your points as valid. Like I said, typical LSU fan, picking choosing stats and points to argue. I said that it isn't a stat we care much about because our starter, the guy with the most td's, is playing in the nfl and went 3rd overall in the nfl draft.

Therefore that stat doesn't concern us because it is not relevant given the difference in how many snaps our returning players got last year and how many they will get this year.

deflection

this thead is about RBs.

Bama has a more proven QB than we do. I've never said otherwise.

actually, this thread is about eddie lacy. you keep wanting to talk about LSU's 800 running backs.

and how many of them can carry the ball at one time? in a given year you need a #1 all purpose guy (Lacy), an all purpose backup (Yeldon), and situational/depth guys (Hart-change of pace, Fowler-short yardage/power, Drake-depth/slot, Sims-wildcat). Only one guy gets the ball at a time. We will be fine at running back this year, don't worry your little head about it.

You have more guys, not more proven guys. Like, I said, past the first 2 or 3 is nothing but filler for directional fodder
