He originally signed with USC, had offers from every big time school in the country.
Lane hired Fresno's Special teams coach to lure Darr back to USC. Darr decides he doesn't want to be at either place, he visits UT and LSU in the past week, and decided he wants to be a vol.
No question the kid can boot the hell out of the ball. He's an athlete to they say he's up to 220 and started on both sides of the ball for his highschool team.

"I know you guys really don't like Lane Kiffin; I guess I feel the same way," said Darr, who added that USC's recent NCAA sanctions were also a drawback to playing for USC. "It didn't strike me as the most appealing place to be once the new staff got in there." - Quote from Darr

I have confirmed that Matt Darr has signed with UT.
He signed with USC and then signed with Fresno and now TN? What's the record for LOI in one year?

He committed to USC. When Pete left, he signed with Fresno State. After he signed, his coach was fired. So, he was released from his LOI and now signed a new LOI with the Vols.
Damn, Vols fans can't even get the story straight.

Your inability to take even the slightest bit of sarcasm is really quite amazing.

Maybe he'll bring home that Heisman that was robbed from Manning.

He was also asked how far he could punt Kiffin, and he said he didn't know but would like to see.
