How in the world did Robert Butterfingers Gillespie become an RB coach?

Perhaps he should descend from the rafters like Sting to celebrate a 66th ranked recruiting class?
He needs to descend on some books and learn to read

Worst coaching loss in years. Officially OUT on Jermy.
Until I know why, I'm reserving judgement
Tennessee was a bad team with lost of good talents and He might have gotten what Jeremy needed from him after he showed him around and the places to recruit and so forth. Also he may want someone else to his liking?

Regardless, this seems to be a real blow
to UT.
It would seem to be, but for what we're paying him relative to other successful RB coaches in the conference, the results are sub par.
It's a blow to recruiting, but one that could be made up by the other proven recruiters on the staff. Butch allowed the position coaches play who they thought should play, and thus he was the reason for Hurd over Kamara. It's also a little strange to have a hold over coach from one staff, let alone two of the previous staffs(he was originally brought on by Dooley). Writing was also on the wall based on the staff salaries they recently announced.

I'm sure he signed a contract, so now you are paying yet another coach not to coach. This has got to be some kind of record.
He had a year left on his contract(his contract wasn't renewed with all the recent additions so this wasn't a surprise), and I think we owe him around $450k(whatever he is owed for the rest of this year($510k annual) minus $50k for him leaving his contract early) for that.

Ironic coming from Pruitt, assuming you are right.
