Collective or booster, they both have restrictions. Booster moreso than collective but just because Spyre is a collective ran by boosters doesn't mean they don't follow a lot of the same rules.

Or maybe, just MAYBE Nico can do whatever the hell he wants after he’s done conducting business with Spyre. He’s not a slave.
And by doing so broke the rules. He broke like the only rule around this shite, lol.
You have no clue how this shite works.

You are nailing the company line, repeating it exactly as you were told to do.

They can call it whatever the frick they want. The NCAA defines them as boosters. They are on record that Spyre Sports Group is doing it because they are UT fans, grads and want to see UT win a national championship.
1. Who is considered a booster?
A booster is defined as an individual, independent agency, corporate entity (e.g., apparel
or equipment manufacturer) or other organization who is known (or who should have
been known) by a member of the institution’s executive or athletics administration or an
athletics department staff member to have participated in or to be a member of an agency
or organization promoting the institution’s intercollegiate athletics program, to have made
financial contributions to the athletics department or an institution’s booster organization,
to assist or to have been requested (by the athletics department staff) to assist in the
recruitment of prospective student-athletes, or to assist or to have assisted in providing
benefits to enrolled student-athletes or their family members.
If an individual or NIL entity’s (e.g., collective) sole or primary purpose is to engage in NIL
activities with student-athletes from a specific institution, such individual or NIL entity would
be considered a booster. Further, if an individual or NIL entity is involved in recruiting activities
for NIL purposes (e.g., collective engaging in recruiting activities), such an individual or entity
would trigger booster status.
NCAA doc: What is a booster?
By definition and the verbal diarrhea of Hunter Baddour and James Clawson, they committed an NCAA violation flying a recruit on a private jet where he then spent 3 days at UT on a visit.

Your chancellor is a woman named Donde. You're screwed.

James Clawson, the other Spyre Sports Group founder running his mouth saying that they got involved with NIL to help UT.
Clawson?
Clawson is a fricking Tennessee grad and booster. Tennessee fans posting that because it's by Spyre and therefore outside the university's jurisdiction are either the stupidest fans in the conference or just yapping to save face.

They are boosters and paid for private jet flights where Nico spent three days visiting UT.
Visiting Knoxville. Because that’s where their headquarters is located. And they help highschool kids(legal in Tennessee), kids at UT Chattanooga, UT Martin, etc. They help broker deals for Tennessee (the state) in state athletes to take advantage of NIL deals.
Serious question: are you really this fricking stupid? Clawson was a Tennessee grad and Vol booster long before anyone ever put the letters N, I, and L together. Trying to deflect by saying they help kids at other universities just makes you look like a fricking retard.

They really are. Spyre Sports Group is just name slapped on a business that is owned by Tennessee boosters. It could be Spyre Automotive Group owned by Clawson handing out cars to football players. The result is the same. Boosters actively involved in player recruitment giving out impermissible benefits.
Those private plane tickets and spending three days at UT on an unofficial visit are impermissible. They flew Nico in for an unofficial visit and to finalize an NIL deal. Two weeks later he announced he is going to attend Tennessee. They may not get Tennessee on pay for play, but Tennessee is nailed for impermissible benefits as a repeat offender.

Who cares what their lawyers now claim. They are on record as stating the goals of the Spyre Sports Group is to get Tennessee a national championship. They are boosters by definition of the NCAA and broke the rules regarding booster.
The only question is how many other violations will the NCAA dig up now that they have cause for an investigation. Repeat offender, Tennessee is getting hammered.

Will you cry on here every day when it doesn’t happen like Harry von clown does after Pruitt never got his money and we didn’t get hammered?

Tennessee is fricked. You know it. You’re just going through the denial state.

This thing will likely take months and during
that time , a dark cloud of uncertainty will hang
over Neyland , even as we move through transfer
portals & recruiting --- of course, you could
come out clean , which honestly I don't think you
will. Matters not , it's that long process of twisting in wind that really hurts.

We landed Nico and had an 11 win season during our last dark cloud.

Athletes can be paid millions of dollars now but can’t accept a free ride somewhere. Makes sense
