Vs Virginia and AP. This is absolutely unacceptable.
Milton aint it. An inaccurate QB will destroy the rythm of your entire team.
I got very tired of watching mediocrity during the Dooly, Butch and Pruitt years.
I learned something during those years. When fans see something bad early on their first thing to say is keep riding with coach butch or dools or jarret guarantamo aka the worst P5 QB ever. They just need more "time."
No not really....you can not magically fix a bad QB not a bad coach. They are what they are.
We have seen Milton look pedestrian against two bad teams now. Yes some WRs dropped passes, but that tells me they just aren't in rhythm with Milton because he's so on and off and does not throw a good catchable ball.
It's very rare if he does. His throws are too fast and behind the WRs majority of the time. Yes the WRs should still catch it but most of those same guys caught it fine with Hooker out there.
I say start Nico. We know for a fact now what Milton is. A very inconsistent QB who limits what plays your OC can call.
Our OC doesn't even trust Milton to throw it deep vs Austin Peay ffs! Unacceptable.
Bring out Nico for Florida. I don't care if we lose with him because we are probably going to lose with Milton.
He can make his freshman mistakes because he's our future and mediocrity is absolutely unacceptable.
Fun fact: Dobbs first real action was against a really good number one ranked Bama team as a true freshman.
And he played pretty well too. We instantly saw his "it" factor that is nowhere to be seen by Milton. The eye test rarely lies. Florida is not a good team. Nico can handle this if he is what we believe him to be. I'm done with Milton's inconsistency.

My messages to you guys is you are the reason why JG was our starting QB for so long. You are the reason why we accepted garbage coaches for so long instead of just canning them immediately and throwing the kitchen sink at the best prospect coaches out there. frick all of you clowns.

Milton currently has the longest FBS streak of consecutive passes without an interception. He is now at 239 consecutive passes without an INT. He will be fine.

A very naturally talented QB who played under Dooley and had a very long career as a backup QB in the NFL.
Had a cannon for an arm and great pocket awareness and ability to evade the rush despite being slow as molasses too.
He definitely had that "it" factor just needed a real coach to be a superstar in college.

We are only ONE real QB from looking like last year on offense again.
