This isn’t hard, people. The only 2 loss team with a worse loss than Mich at home is the Vols loss to Arky. Their loss is worse and their wins are worse (although Bama beats Indiana by 30+, they’re the LSU of the B1G).

I'm glad you admit that Alabama's two losses to unranked teams should have eliminated them completely from the playoff picture. Especially when they lose by three touchdowns to an unranked team and only score three points.

Just one problem to your logic, there are no teams below Alabama that have better losses AND better wins than Bama. If there was, they wouldn’t be below Bama.

You got beat at the end of the season by an unranked team. You got beat by three touchdowns and you only scored three points. You shouldn't be within 10 teams of the playoffs.
