Vols & Bama: One of them HAS to make the Final Four, right?

They could well end up playing each other but at a minimum you have to think one of these teams finally gets into the Final Four, right?
I think Bama gets there. Vols probably fall to Michigan State. Bama's path looks damn good with the 2-3-4 eliminated and no Power 5 schools left in their region.
Would be insane if Vols played Bama in the Final Four.

Vols would probably rather face K-State.
A team nobody expected much out of. The Vols beat the teams in the Big XII tournament final by double digits.
K-State is a very good team but Izzo is Izzo.

As a long suffering Alabama basketball fan I'm convinced we must have sold our souls years ago for football success and the deal was perpetual postseason mediocrity in the NCAA tournament. How else does one explain a 1-9 record in Sweet 16 games? ??
To answer the OP, no. We're never making it to a Final 4 the same way Kentucky is never making a college football playoff (no offense Kentucky fans)
