Tuscaloosa gets to smell the sweet smoke of the dumpster fires in Knoxville and on the plains.
I'm jealous.
All we get over here is the smell of menstruation blowing south from Waco.

Because we're hiring Gruden

I'd be really shocked if Gruden leaves his gig

I don't think we get him honestly, but there's a lot of smoke that he's interested

it seems there is smoke around him every year, though. I remember a couple years ago when Miami fans were going nuts because Gruden was 'thinking' about the job
anyhow, if you get him then I guess that is great.
I was just curious why Butch Davis is not ever discussed (or maybe I just don't see it). He seems like the ideal person for your situation. At least from where i sit.

Reading his twitter, it goes beyond those two posts in over all feel.
Hell, if he really wants to come back, I'd love to see him pull his grades up and do it, especially if he is home sick.

I doubt UT would let him transfer to UF

He was committed to UF originally, and was actually cleared to play by the NCAA. UF turned him away a week before he was set to start classes.

you don't think Arkansas is going to go for a more offense minded coach? Like Briles, the La Tech guy, etc?

Butch Davis is toxic with the issues that happen at UNC.

How so? He had players getting involved with agents. That hardly makes a coach toxic
UNC has turned out to be a very very dirty program that stretches far beyond football and into every sport and academics
