How was he so under the radar coming into the draft? Did you guys use him much in the passing game? If not why? Was orange Bert that dumb? He is a electric player and just became the 3rd 600 & 600 player in NFL history. Dude is a fantasy football goldmine.

Butch Jones thought Jalen Hurd was a better running back. I think Hurd is changing tires somewhere now.

Correct. Outside of the necks, every VOLS fan could see this. Lyle had made promises to Hurd during the recruitment process, and again when he attempted to transfer after the 2015 season. Just one of many, many lies that he told players and fans.

Butch is a fricking buffoon. Kamara got like 10 touches per game in 2015/16 while Hurd was averaging over 20+ until he quit the team.
Kamara's first career start was against A&M last year and he broke the single game yards from scrimmage record at Tennessee. My jaw was on the floor wondering how this guy was riding the pine behind Hurd's goofy arse.

Kamara is fast. As fast as Drake, maybe faster. While he was at Bama he had a problem fumbling in practice. This is the only reason he couldn't get playing time. I don't know about UT, but I imagine the reason he didn't start was about ball protection. Apparently, all he needed was to be coached up about how to carry the ball. Clearly, he has received that kind of coaching in the nfl. Both Bama's and UT's coaches blew it with this kid, is what I think happened.

Kamara is one of the many reasons VOLS hated Lyle so much.
On my list, it probably ranks #4 after terrible in-game coaching, awful slogans/clichés/repetitions, and the numerous false promises he got busted out on.
